Fakta mengenai Nuklear

Allah SWT mencipta uranium ni bersebab, kitalah yang kena kaji dan belajar mengenai penggunaannya. Jepun yang baru kena kat Fukushima, masih teruskan usaha membina loji2 nuklear ni, sekarang dah ada 55 buah kilang nuklear di Jepun. Kyoto Protokol datang dari Jepun. So kena fikir kenapa mereka masih teruskan, apa kebaikannya. Jangan terus tengok keburukannya.

Janakuasa dari uranium pallet SEBESAR KUKU kita saja adalah bersamaan dengan 17,000 ft3 Gas Asli, 800 kilogram Arang Batu, 570 liter minyak (2 tong lebih). Dan setiap pallet ni boleh bertahan lama. Dengan penemuan jenis "fast efficient reactors" hari ni, seluruh dunia boleh bertahan dengan sumber uranium yang ada di dunia ni selama 2,500 tahun!!! Ok sendiri mau ingatla, negeri mat Bangla dari Bangladesh tu pun dah buat 2 reaktor macam ni!! Kita belum lagi!! 

Fakta : Hanya 2 orang mati di Fukushima apabila kilang nuklear mencair, ianya terbakar disebabkan tsunami. Masalah kat Jepun tu sebab kena tsunami 150 tahun sekali, dan dari human error sebab tak shutdown. Yang teruk sekali ialah bursa saham Jepun, orang melompat takut sebab dengar ayat radiasi, jatuh saham Jepun. Radiasi memang tinggi di reaktor, tapi di sekeliling mereka mendapati radiasi ini hampir sama dengan radiasi yang kita hadapi sekarang, iaitu natural radiasi. 

Fakta : Fukushima has so far released about 10% as much radiation as Chernobyl, Japan’s nuclear safety agency said. Dah advance la teknologi nuklear sekarang. 90% reduction of radiation from leakage. Oleh itu it is a GO for nuke. 

Hydro, Biomass dan Nuclear adalah yang terbaik sekarang. Tapi kelebihan Nuklear adalah ruang untuk letak power plant tidak sebesar yang diperlukan seperti Hydro. Hydro memang jimat, tapi kawasan tadahan yang diperlukan adalah besar. Contohnya Hydro Bakun mampu membekalkan janakuasa untuk 1/3 seluruh Borneo Sabah dan Sarawak. Jika sudah maju,  ia memerlukan kawasan tadahan sebesar Singapore. 3 nuklear power boleh ganti Bakun tak salah saya.

Apa itu ZONAL? Setiap pembangunan suatu tempat mempunyai bahagian2 zon, seperti zon perumahan, zon industri, zon perniagaan. Power plant diletakkan di zon perindustrian, sebab industri yang paling banyak pakai power. Kalau jauh transmisi, kos akan naik  untuk industri yang banyak pakai. 

Padanlah GDP Selangor sekarang dah negative, sebab PKR punya bodoh. Depa dok ingat teknologi nuklear ni sama macam 60an dulu, sekarang dah advance la. Arang batu lebih teruk sekarang, tiap2 hari radiasi dok keluar dari pembakaran abu arang batu. Seeloknya bacalah dulu teknologi baru nuklear tu, bukan terus buat kesimpulan. Aku awal2 tak setuju, tapi bila aku baca tekno baru nuke ni, aku setuju dan ia dibuktikan di Fukushima sendiri, 90% radiation reduction leakage berbanding chernobyl dulu. Rujuk sini dan sini.

Mengenai sumber tenaga lain seperti solar atau renewable energy, kita dah ada 11 reaktor renewable energy. Kombinasi 11 tu tak sampai pun 100MW kapasiti. Kita perlukan minimum 1 power plant yang mampu supply minimum 700MWkapasiti sekarang. Bukannya kerajaan tak pandang renewable energy pun, tapi belum sampai masa optimum lagi. Rujuk sini.

Loji Nuklear takdak TNT. Paling ramai mati akibat letupan loji nuclear dalam sejarah adalah letupan Chernobyl, iaitu 31 orang pada tahun 1986. Pada tahun yang sama jugak dari rekod World Health Organisation (WHO), orang yang mati akibat dari kesan fossil fuel power plant dalam lingkungan 1,800,000 orang. Ini fakta.

Kelemahan untuk implementasi loji nuclear di negara kita adalah kelemahan pemimpin BN untuk membuka mata rakyat dengan penerangan mengenai status sekarang iaitu perbandingan fosil fuel power plant dengan loji nuclear dari segi keselamatan / kesihatan dan juga dari segi aspek ekonomi. Ini sangat menyedihkan. Bagi saya, rakyat ramai tidak tahu mengenai perbandingan ini dan kebaikan yang akan dibawa kepada seluruh rakyat Malaysia.

The Effect of Fossil Fuel Power Plant

Steffen Hentrich of the German Liberal Institute presented a comparison of the safety of various sources of energy. Is this claim founded on solid data and facts, or is it run-away hysteria?.Shown are the number of deaths per terawatt-hour of energy produced. Coal Fired Power Plant is the highest.

1)    Photovoltaic power generation kills, per terawatt-hour, 11 times more people than nuclear. 

2)    From Fossil Fuel Power Plant - Worldwide, indoor smoke from solid fuel combustion causes about 21% of deaths from lower respiratory infections, 35% of deaths from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and about 3% of deaths from lung cancer.

3)    Indoor air pollution from solid fuel use and urban outdoor air pollution are estimated to be responsible for 3.1 million premature deaths worldwide every year and 3.2% of the global burden of disease.

4)    In the year 2004, outdoor air pollution in urban areas was responsible for almost 1.2 million deaths (2% of all deaths) and 0.6% of the global burden of disease. 

5)    Transportation-related air pollution, which is a significant contributor to total urban air pollution, increases the risks of cardiopulmonary-related deaths and non-allergic respiratory disease. Some evidence supports an association of transportation-related air pollution with increased risks of lung cancer, myocardial infarction, increased inflammatory response and adverse pregnancy outcomes (e.g. premature birth and low birth weight).

How many deaths in Fukushima due to radiation? Can u give me a figure? Serious is Serious, if fossil fuel power plants blows up like that also cause problems like poisonous smoke in the air and that is a confirm death if that happen. But in Fukushima still 0 death toll due to radiation. In normal working condition without blowing up like in Fukushima, nuke is safe but fossil fuel power plant already cause death 4.3 million deaths on yearly basis worldwide due to the smoke they emitted. That’s a fact. 

Every type of plants whether fossil fuel or nuclear will have their own problems. The question now is, which cause less problems? Humans already figure out the techniques and methods to mitigate radiation hence Fukushima with 0 deaths from radiation. But human still unable to figure out the techniques to mitigate poisonous fumes in our air effectively. In normal and stable working condition fossil fuel already cause worldwide 4.3 million deaths on yearly basis from the carbon and poison emission. That is only in normal working condition, what if it blows up?

There are reasons that Kyoto Protocol now favors nuclear power plant over fossil fuel power we have now. Even Greenpeace top leaderships changed their mind and now favors nuclear. And whole of EU they increasing it to 19 reactors, today they got 195. First, the nuke techno have evolved since Chernobyl days, they are more safe and cheap than before compare to fossil fuel power plants.

German : The Pioneer of Biggest Builders & Investors Nuclear Energy

According to WHO (World Health Organisation), those fossil fuel power plant killed far more many people every year compared to nuclear power plant in 20 years. Bangladesh alone is 50k to 200k/year, no wonder they went for nuclear power plant now, cheaper and safer. TB, asthma etc originated from those fossil fuel power plants. And that, those fossil fuel powered plant operates in normal mode, what if it blows up? 

Germany have been the biggest builders and investors in Nuclear energy, practically they are the pioneer. There are almost 160 reactors are being planned and proposed in China alone. And Germany is building at least half of those that’s in China only. Maybe in Malaysia, if we choose to build a nuclear power plant, it might be build by the German. That’ how it is.

It was the Germans that basically introduce Nuclear Energy. In 1939, they formed Uranverein (Uranium Club). Who are these guys? Kurt Diebner, Abraham Esau, Walther Gerlach, Erich Schumann, Albert Einstein, Walther Bothe, Klaus Clusius, Otto Hahn, Paul Harteck, Werner Heisenberg and many more. These guys are the fathers of nuclear technology all of them are Germans. Either Americans, Chinese or even Russia, they have German Physicists / scientists working or leading their nuclear technology. Germany has more nuclear scientists in whole of Europe and today nuclear have become a lucrative industry due to astronomical increase of fossil fuel plants. So you think Merkel seriously going to close shop??? HELL NO!!! She’s just saying it for the popularity to get votes and diverting economic crises that they having environmental issues, that’s all. Nowadays German scientists and companies are all over the world building and teaching about nuclear power plants to the world. That’s the reality and the fact about Germany Nuclear Energy.

European Union today they have almost similar power grids which each other and they share it among each other with similar pricing in EURO. Like making Airbus making their plane each components came from each different states in European Union. Same as Power Plants, France and Russia supply power almost all to EU states, France have 58 and Russia have 32. And the whole of EU they got 195!! And they are building at least 19 every year. And who’s the biggest investors in EU nuclear?? It still Germany!! They just close 7 old ones but they still have 17. And they are not behind Germany backyard? Those nuclear plants in France are just a few kilometers away from Germany. Merkel just saying it for popularity, election is coming but her action is otherwise. That’s the fact about EU.

Do you seriously think Chancellor Merkel of Germany is sincere enough to CLOSE SHOP their nuclear power technology??? Why don’t she close the NEW Nuclear Power Plant build by Germany, why she close only the already DUE to be shutdown only? Do you know that the best Universities to learn nuclear power technology are in Germany? Do you know that US MIT Techonology University only provides scholarship to anyone who learns nuclear tech in Germany, France and Japan only? (MIT CANES is Center for Advanced Nuclear Energy Systems Scholarship) Why Merkel didn’t shut down the University? If Merkell is sincere to close shop their nuclear technology in Germany, why don’t she shutdown all the German investors and power corporations that have been advising, designing, building the nuclear power plants around the world today that have brought money back to German economy? If Merkel sincere to shutdown Nuclear Tech, is she willing to "erase" that the founders of Nuclear Tech is Germans scientists and willing to "erase" all their work? Think again YL Chew. She ain’t sincere. She’s just diverting the bad economy panic issues in Germany to environmental issues, that’s all.

Germany actually disbanding those nuclear power plants in the south because it is old, and actually Germany buying nuclear power source from France and Czech, those 2 countries have more than 50 nuclear plants and they over supplied so Germany buy from them without investing in new ones. France and the Czech Republic are feeding in nuclear power into southern Germany now that older German nuclear power plants have been shut down.

Andree Bohling, Greenpeace energy expert said ;

"It is not true that Germany would not have enough of its own capacity with the shutdown old nuclear power plants. The increased imports can be explained by the reaction of the electricity markets, who still continue to supply with the cheaper electricity – and it can at times come increasingly from nuclear plants in in France”.

Therefore YL Chew, enough said, let’s go nuclear.

Comparing Energy Costs of Nuclear with other Sources

Lynas incident : Since this PKR woman said no to nuke, so we going back with high cost, high pollution, short term life cycle, fossil fuel power station now? With the unstable price of coal, natural gas or oil and the back dated technology will cost us more impact.

There are reasons that US, UK, EU and even Japan still push ahead with nuclear power plants. They have made comparisons between fossil fuel power station and nuclear and the results made them willing to take the risks. Check here, here, and here.


And for those dumbazz PKR that complaint about the nuke power plant, this is the comparison of cost of Electricity Production for every kilowatt hour in 2010 (latest) ;

Nuclear - USD 0.04/kwh,

Hydro - USD 0.03/kwh,

Coal USD 0.045/kwh (depend on transportation distance),

Natural Gas - USD 0.10/kwh,

Petroleum - USD 0.10/kwh,

Other renewables - USD 0.15/kwh

Therefore, with more uncertainties on the fossil resources in the near future, nuclear should be a go ahead.

Ask yourself, why in Fukushima, they still continue building more nuclear power plants even they got that incident, why don’t they change to fossil fuel if nuclear not safe? Of course Japan is struggling with their crisis, their reactors were hit with a bloody tsunami!!! Any type of power plant blows up or got hit by tsunami will create crises. If nuclear will create radiation crises, the fossil fuel power plant will create poisonous air crises. Both types still kills ya if blows up, so the question is, which kills less? That’s the point. Ask yourself, why in Fukushima, they still continue building more nuclear power plants even they got that incident? Why don’t they change to fossil fuel if nuclear not safer and cheaper? Japanese are not dumb.

And by the way if you guys don’t know, coal ash is more radioactive than nuclear waste. By burning away all the pesky carbon and other impurities, coal power plants produce heaps of radiation. One of the cleanest energy and cheapest is nuclear. The risks are the meltdown which results from human errors, if we have tight safety measures, everything will be fine. Oh wait, Japan is building more nuke plants increasing their megawatt capacity to 30%. These PKR people that made complaint are bunch of idiots (Oh wait, I forgot, they are idiots no wonder in Selangor there’s negative GDP).

If these guys want to complain, they should have come with solutions to address the issues of Electricity Generation we having today. Like outdated technology of power plants, the daily pollution generated daily from fossil fuel power plants, the unstable fluctuations of coal, natural gas or oil etc. Just making complaint and then walk away is just talking cock.

Bukti Australia juga ada Rare Earth (Nadir Bumi)

Puak2 anti LYNAS dok kata kerajaan Australia tak benarkan sisa rare earth (nadir bumi) disimpan di negara mereka sebab bahaya. Ok takpa. Ini, 35 km di selatan Laverton, barat Australia ni kemende?? Jamban? Mount Weld satu kawasan setempat yang paling kaya rare earth di dunia iaitu setakat ini telah digali 773,300 ton mineral. Laverton ini hanya 17 km dari Melbourne, salah satu bandar utama di Australia. Apa cerita ni? Saintis anti Lynas mana dok temberang ni? Bak kata pepatah Che Rosli pakar nuklear PAS, "SAYA PUN MALU".

Mount Weld is located 35 kilometres south of Laverton, Western Australia. The initial mining campaign was successfully completed in June 2008 and was accomplished lost-time-injury free, on budget and ahead of schedule.

The campaign mined 773,300 tonnes of ore, with an average grade of 15.4% Rare Earths Oxide (REO).

The ore is stockpiled on-site according to grade and mineralogy. The Run-Of-Mine (ROM) pad has sufficient ore for more than two years of downstream processing operation.

During the campaign, approximately two million bulk cubic metres of overburden was mined, which has been placed on overburden stockpiles. Rehabilitation of the overburden stockpiles with top soil and revegetation has commenced.

Meh kita tengok gambar kilang LYNAS kat Australia ini yang kononnya puak2 ANTI LYNAS dok kata tak wujud atau tutup kat Australia sebab kerajaan Australia tak benarkan kononnya bahaya. Gambar struktur kilang sama ja macam kat Malaysia. Pada tahun lepas bulan December 2011, kilang ini dah berjaya meningkatkan produksi sehingga 15 dry ton setiap jam, wow! Aku konfius kalau LYNAS dikatakan terlalu bahaya di Australia sebab radiasi kononnya, tapi apasal LYNAS Australia terus tingkatkan produksi dan operasi seperti biasa tanpa halangan?? Jeng Jeng Jeng, ada pakar saintis anti lynas kat sini boleh jawab??

Concentration Plant

Following the commissioning of the Concentration Plant in May 2011, the plant continued to ramp up and is performing ahead of expectations.

The Concentration Plant continues to ramp up, with nameplate throughput of 15 dry tonnes per hour being reached frequently during the month of December 2011.  In the same month, REO recoveries was 71.7%against a planned 65% recovery rate.  At the end of Q4 2011, 6,059 dry metric tonnes of concentrate containing 2,188 tonnes of REO were bagged on site, ready to be transported.

The Future of Nuclear Plant in Malaysia

Today, Green Energy is too expensive and require massive amount of space to place the generators in order to generate equivalent amount of power like any other plants. Example in Taiwan, they build a Prototype Solar generators, it is the biggest in Asia but it cost 4 times more than standard Fossil Fuel Power Plants that we using and nuclear cost cheaper and require lesser space than Fossil Fuel Power. The green technologies were born in 2000 basically and it is still long way to go. If Malaysia goes all out on green technology TODAY, it is a guarantee the citizens can’t afford to pay the astronomical tariffs.

The cheapest and cleanest energy today is Hydroelectric Dam. But that type of plants / structure need massive amount of space. The bigger power requirement, the bigger space we need for water catchment and bigger the river. Example Bakun Dam, it able to generate a lot of power, but the water catchment area needed as big as Singapore, that means a lot of trees need to go. And another issue, Malaysia has how many rivers like Sg.Rajang? That’s the issue with Hydro power today.

Coal Ash is far more radioactive than nuclear waste today. By burning away all the pesky carbon and other impurities, coal power plants produce heaps of radiation. That’s the fact. 

We don’t need 50 or 100 nuclear plants in Malaysia. We may just need 5 or 10, that’s the most. Do you know our nail sized palletes can generate power as much as 2 barrel of fuel and a ton of coal? Do you know that below 10 of nuclear plant can replace all fossil fuel power plants in Malaysia and at the same time we can save a lot of areas? How many manpower you need to operate 10 nuclear power plants? 1 million people? Just Lim Kit Siang, he jumped histerically in the past saying that Pulau Pinang bridge is a waste of rakyat money, but end up he himself using it and want newer bridge in Penang. That’s lame.

Here is some facts ;

a)    1,000 highly trained personnel were required to run a two unit nuclear plant.

b)   Do you know how many amount of power can be generated from the 2 units? 20,000 MW of electricity by 2021 from two units.

c)    Do you know how many units of fossil fuel power plant can be replaced in Malaysia? We have ;

32 fossil fuel power plants,

21 Gas Powered which total combine powers = 12,622 MW,

6 Coal Powered which total combine power = 8,425 MW,

      5 Oil Powered which total combined power = 578 MW. 

 Grand total of combined power from all 32 fossil fuel power plants in Malaysia are 21,625 MW. As per rule of thumb, that 2 units type of nuclear plant can almost replace all of our fossil fuel power plants, with only 1,000 highly trained personnel. Don’t forget the cost savings too.

 

 Feeding the horde that support people politically is part of the operation costs. It applies in all country in the world, whether it is Japan, America even Germany etc. As per 2010, UK cost estimates for every pound / megawatt hour, nuclear cost is the cheapest compare to fossil fuel sources. Therefore, operating cost reduced then electricity cost reduced too. Today, every 5 days, 1 nuclear plant is build around the world. That’s the fact.

Look at Petronas today, they are the 7 sisters of the world. Do you know that Malaysia has setup its own Nuclear Agency in 1972???!!! Do you know that Malaysia already have their own reactor since 1982 (TRIGA Mark 2)??? It is one of the earliest in the region too (behind Indonesia). Do you know that they have been developing and training human resources in the field of nuclear technology and related technologies within this region??? They have been here in Malaysia since Tun Razak.

Better half baked rather than not baked at all that talked about high tech stuff. Even though at first I disagree with nuke, but I did my own research and fact findings and compared it with the current technology Fossil Fuel Plant. And the facts have shown, it is way better than standard Fossil Fuel Plants.

It is not about nuclear plants, it is about addressing our Energy needs for future sustainability. In time, there will be better technology replacing nuclear tech and we will replace nuclear tech. But for now, comparing with all technologies available, nuclear is way better than other tech at this moment.

Bunuh tanpa Bicara atau ISA?

 Memandangkan PR sokong cara US, UK menegakkan hak asasi manusia dan menjaga keselamatan negara mereka, saya cadangkan Malaysia , bubarkan ISA dan terima pakai BUNUH TANPA BICARA seperti US, UK dan negara lain yang tiada ISA sebab inilah yang PR mahu sebenarnya. Keratan akhbar ini satu contoh negara Thailand yang tidak pakai ISA tetapi pakai BUNUH TANPA BICARA.

Memang betui PR cakap ISA ni outdated. Tapi korang nak tau apa yang updated ISA selepas perang dunia ke 2? BUNUH TANPA BICARA. Undang2 ini diperkenalkan UK, US dan negara Eropah lain yang menghapuskan ISA iaitu TAHANAN TANPA BICARA. Contoh - US ada Executive Order Act yang membolehkan mereka untuk membunuh tanpa bicara dan UK pula melalui Intelligence Service Act yang memberi immuniti dari dakwaan membunuh kepada pegawai kerajaan yang melaksanakan pembunuhan.

Kenapa Barat memilih BUNUH TANPA BICARA dari ISA? Antara sebabnya BUNUH TANPA BICARA ni lebih murah, pantas, efektif dan bebas dari kecaman media dan salah faham penduduk. Ia banyak dilaksanakan semasa perang dingin. TAHANAN TANPA BICARA memakan kos yang lebih tinggi seperti maintain penjara dan pegawai, proses yang panjang dan risiko kecaman dari media dan penduduk. Contoh terbaik apabila Presiden Obama memilih untuk menutup Guantanamo Bay yang menahan tanpa bicara kerana banyak kontroversi dan 6 bulan selepas itu Presiden Obama menandatangi Executive Order baru untuk BUNUH TANPA BICARA (tak pening kepala nak handle media).

 Korang semua boleh buat perbandingan sendiri , National Security Act negara2 yang tak pakai ISA. Antara Terminologi BUNUH TANPA BICARA - 

1.  Pendapat akula, perbandingan ISA dengan updated BUNUH TANPA BICARA yang diamalkan negara2 lain tanpa ISA, ISAlah yang ada peri kemanusiaan ia masih memberi peluang kedua.

Itulah sebabnya kalau korang semua kajilah, negara2 yang tiada ISA contoh US, negara mereka takde parti politik yang berlainan ideologi, dua2 parti politik mereka iaitu Republican dan Democrat mempunyai ideologi yang sama. Sebab itulah di US, kamu undi mana2 Presiden akhirnya buat benda sama je. Mana dia parti politik yang berbeza ideologi di US? Mana ada dah, semua dah kena tanam dah. Ini style mereka, amacam? Nak ikut cadangan PR ikut cara US dan bubarkan ISA?

Apsal Kerajaan baru Mesir tak jemput Anwar tapi jemput Tun Mahathir yang dah pencen utk beri pandangan masa hadapan Mesir??? Sendiri mau ingatla.

Hangpa semua tengok video ni pada March 2011, Anwar dok kata dia mcm berjuang mcm rakyat Mesirla, macam2 sembang dia buat aku tak kering gusi dok ketawa tengok orang kena kencing, akhirnya kerajaan baru Mesir panggil Mahathir bukannya Anwar, kuang kuang kuang. La ni dia kalih pasai nak jadi penasihat Tunisia pulak hehehe.

Dah kerajaan baru Mesir tak jemput dia tapi jemput Mahathir, Anwar kalih pulak kat Tunisia kononnya Tunisia jemput dia nak jadi penasihat ekonomi Tunisia, tapi dia tak mau hahaha, adoi Anwar, hang ni memang unik.

Anwar kata minggu lepas dia dijemput oleh kepimpinan kerajaan Tunisia yang baru untuk memberi nasihat mengenai bagaimana nak membangunkan negara Tunisia.

Kata Anwar lagi, " Saya dibenarkan berceramah didalam Parlimen Tunisia selama 2 jam yang mempunyai lebih 60 Ahli Parlimen dan mereka memberi tepukan yang begitu gemuruh sekali"

"Kesemua ahli Parlimen Tunisia menyokong perjuangan saya dan mereka sanggup memberikan apa saja untuk perjuangan saya", kata Anwar dihadapan kira-kira 1000 penonton di Kuantan.

"Dua minggu lepas saya ke Turki dengan Nurul izah atas undangan Presiden Turki. Saya dibenarkan bermalam di Istana Turki. Saya berceramah dalam istana Turki", kata Anwar lagi

"Kalau sekarang saya mahu tinggalkan Malaysia untuk jadi penasihat samada Tunisia atau Turki bila-bila masa sahaja boleh, saya boleh dapat gaji beratus ribu ringgit sebulan, tetapi itu bukan matlamat saya", kata Anwar.

"Matlamat saya hanyalah untuk menyelamatkan Malaysia daripada pemimpin yang angkuh," kata Anwar.
