PR/DAP/Penang state govt. is all against nucler plant. That is their constitutional right. At the same time, PR is all out to reduce carbon permission as per Buku Jinggay ;

“Merendahkan kadar pelepasan karbon, selaras dengan piawaian antarabangsa dan meningkatkan daya system ekologi untuk menyerap karbon”

Meaning, no nuclear and no fossil fuel since fossil fuel of power generation (for base load) is the main culprit of Carbon Emission beside transportation.

And technically, nuclear and coal is the only options available in today’s power generation technology to run the massive base load (now 700 MW/unit) to stabilize our grind system.

Can anybody with Einstein Brain propose to the rest of the ignorant Malaysian including myself, what are the least cost option of generation to meet the TNB grid system if both nuclear and coal are rejected? Bear in mind, we need at least 700MW/turbine. What a moron this Guan Eng, racists and stupid at the same time.

The point now, PR say according to Buku Jinggay, they want to reduce carbon emission, that means no coal power. Now they say no to nuclear with zero carbon emission, so where we going to get 700MW/turbine?

There are reasons that Kyoto Protocol now favors nuclear power plant over fossil fuel power we have now. Even Greenpeace top leaderships changed their mind and now favors nuclear. And whole of EU they increasing it to 19 reactors, today they got 195! First the nuke techno have evolved since Chernobyl days, they are more safer and cheap than before compare to fossil fuel power plants.

Kyoto Protocol was made for this specific reason – to reduce carbon and poison emission from these fossil fuel power plants and others. A lot those able bodies and prominent figures that were ANTI nuclear in the past already change their mind and have become PRO.

It is a matter of safety and cost, compare to other fossil fuel power plant that (we have here more than 20), I chose nuclear to be here. Humans already figure out the techniques and methods to mitigate radiation hence Fukushima with 0 deaths from radiation. But human still unable to figure out the techniques to mitigate poisonous fumes in our air effectively. Even in normal and stable working condition fossil fuel already cause worldwide 4.3 million deaths on yearly basis from the carbon and poison emission. That is only in normal working condition, what if it blows up? How we can control the poisonous cloud of smoke? What choice do we have?

FAKTA - Kenapa Bangladesh memilih nuklear dari fossil fuel power plant seperti arang batu adalah kerana dua sebab berikut ;

1. Faktor Keselamatan : Pada 1986, rakyat di India dan Bangladesh direkodkan kematian seramai 496,059/tahun orang akibat menghidu gas2 beracun dan karbon dari fossil fuel power plant seperti arang Batu, minyak dan gas. 

2. Faktor Kewangan : Kos janakuasa Nuklear sekarang adalah 150% lebih murah dari janakuasa sekarang iaitu arang batu, gas dan minyak.

Ni fakta. Nampaknya Bangladesh buat tindakan yang bijak. Kita bila lagi?

Fakta dari segi keselamatan : 

Berapa orang yang MATI akibat kesan letupan loji nuklear di Fukushima? = 0,

Berapa ramai org MATI akibat gas2 beracun dan karbon dari fossil fuel power plant seluruh dunia? = 4.3 juta setahun, yang ni belum meletup lagi.

So apa nak fikir lagi?

Coal USD 0.045/kwh (dependant on transportation distance),

So apa nak fikir lagi?

Hangpa ingat Japan, Eropah dan US buat infrastruktur dan bangunan tak pernah ada yang structural failure? US sahaja ada beribu structural failure sebab human error, tapi diorang belajar dari kesilapan dan diorang upgrade, buat jugak loji nuklear. Contohnya 2 laluan tergantung di Hyatt Regency di Kansas City, Missouri telah roboh dan membunuh 114 orang. Lagi satu contoh, jambatan I-35W Sungai Mississippi roboh semasa rush hour menyebabkan 13 orang mati. Dan ada beribu lagi situasi macam ni di US. Tapi apsal diorang tak guna contoh ni untuk buat loji nuklear?

Kalau nak hidup membazir, boleh tolak teknologi nuklear terbaru sekarang yang lebih selamat dan murah. Boleh pakai arang batu, minyak yang sekarang dah melebihi 100% kos dengan produksi tenaga setiap kilowatt sejam.

Kata nak harga barangan turun, bila usaha untuk turunkan kos-kos asas seperti kurangkan kebergantungan terhadap arang batu dan minyak, tak mahu pulak. Memang PKR kaki kelentong.

Bagitahu aku power plant mana yang meletup takkan membawa sebarang mudarat? Fossil Fuel Power Plant seperti arang batu, gas dan minyak belum lagi meletup dah membunuh manusia seluruh dunia seramai 4.3 Juta setahun melalui proses menghidu gas beracun dan karbon. Antara penyakit/desease yang timbul akibat ini ;

ALRI (young children),

Chronic bronchitis and COPD,

Lung Cancer (coal only),

Cancer of nasopharynx and larynx,

Cataract,

TB,

Low birth weight,

Perinatal mortality,

Acute otitis media,

Cardiovascular disease,

Asthma.

Badan Kesihatan Dunia menunjukkan lebih ramai orang mati setiap tahun disebab kan janakuasa arang batu, gas dan minyak berbanding dengan kematian janakuasa nuklear dalam masa 30 tahun.

Penemuan sains  : Arang Batu lebih teruk sekarang oi! Tiap2 hari radiasi dok keluar dari pembakaran abu arang batu.

Kesimpulan dan pengetahuan yang kita dapat tahu :

Dari segi faktor keselamatan : Janakuasa fossil seperti arang batu, minyak dan gas telah membunuh manusia dalam masa 1 tahun sahaja, melebihi kadar kematian yang disebabkan loji nuklear dalam masa 30 tahun.

Dari segi faktor ekonomi : Loji janakuasa nuklear sekarang adalah 150% lebih murah dari janakuasa fossil fossil seperti arang batu, minyak dan gas. Loji nuklear adalah lebih baik dari janakuasa fosil yang kita pakai sekarang.
